Equazen are the UK’s biggest supplier of quality Omega 3 fish oil products in the UK. Cergis were initially asked to build a new web site in 2005 but were, due to the high volume of sales this generated were quickly asked to move in to the customer relationship management.

Equazen are the UK’s biggest supplier of quality Omega 3 fish oil products in the UK. When we originally started working on their web site in 2005 the level of traffic on their existing site was extremely low – largely due to a poorly designed, old fashioned web site that was counter-intuitive.

Cergis worked with designers to create a modern and easy to use store front which was then implemented as a content managed web site.

Traffic to the site immediately increased and generated a large number of web sales which were being fed in to the call centre CRM software they already had installed. The increased level of traffic caused many problems with the CRM software so we proposed a web based interface for moving the call centre activity to the same system as the web site – that was where most of the data was held already.

This methodology worked extremely well and allowed the call centre activities to scale very cost effectively due to not requiring per-seat license fees for accessing the CRM.
